GENERAL ADMISSION REQUIREMENTS

1. Students with requisite qualifications for the course of study proposed may be admitted provided they have attained the age of eighteen (18) years by September of the year of their admission. Admission into the College is at the beginning of an academic session.
2. For admission to all courses, candidates must satisfy the entry requirements for the intended courses of study. Generally, five (5) credit passes in English Language, Mathematics, Biology or Health Science, Chemistry and Physics. They must also sit for and pass the Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examination (UTME) conducted by JAMB.
3. To apply, prospective students will need to complete and submit the online application form available at https://portal.bschta.edu.ng You will find instructions and help throughout the form. The cost of Application Forms shall be made known in due course.
4. All applicants seeking admission into the College shall take an aptitude test conducted by the College and only those who are successful will be considered for admission.
5. Upon admission, students shall pay to the College, the prescribed fees and register as students of the College.
6. Applicants who are offered places in the College must submit to the Academic Office, for scrutiny, all originals of their certificates before they are registered. Until an applicant who is offered a place is registered he/she is not a student of the College.
7. The College reserves the right to accept or reject an application. It can also revoke an admission if a student is believed to have used dishonest means to gain admission into the College.

How to Apply

Before you begin the application, be sure to have an Active/Verifiable personal email address, an ATM Card/Bank Transfer available for payment, soft copy of your Passport photo (in JPG format, not more than 1mb in size) as well as Scanned copies of SSCE Certificates or Statements of Result.

1. Visit www.portal.bschta.edu.ng and Click on ‘New Applicant’; then click on ‘Make Payment’. This will redirect you to the Gokollect Novus Microfinance Bank platform.
2. NOTE: Applicants are expected to use their valid email address and phone number as these shall be used as the only communication medium between the College and the Applicants.
3. Create an account using your basic bio data as required. Select the Institution and your proposed Department/Course of study. For both Programme Type and Level, select Applicant. Then click on ‘Sign Up’.
4. A message will be sent to the email address you supplied asking you to verify your account and create a password. Follow the steps and then login to the Gokollect platform to continue the payment process.
5. Select ‘Payments’, then click on ‘Current Fees’. Select ‘Application Form’ and then click on ‘Generate Invoice’. Once invoice is successfully generated, click on ‘Pay Now’.
6. Supply your ATM card details and follow the prompts to complete the transaction.
7. If you prefer to use the transfer option, select ‘Bank Transfer’ and make payment to the account number generated by the system. Ensure to pay the exact amount contained on your invoice.
8. Print Receipt: Print your payment invoice and keep in a safe place. You will be required to present the receipts for verification on the day of the aptitude test. You can always login to your Gokollect account to reprint the paid Invoice.
9. Once your payment is successful, a mail containing a unique registration number and password will be sent to the email address you provided.
10. Go to your mail and select ‘Proceed to Login’. This will take you to back to the school portal. Login with your application number and password to proceed with your application.
11. Once you have logged in, click on ‘Application Form’. Enter all your information as requested and upload your passport and Certificate/Statement of Result. Click on ‘Submit’. You will get a message informing you that your application is successful. That would be all for the application.
12. Return on a later date as indicated to print your completed Application Form which will contain your date and time for the Aptitude Test.
